Andy Reid got depantsed in the Super Bowl by Bruce Arians.
Bruce Fucking Arians and Tom Fucking Brady.
Well, you see, Andy Reid is an offensive genius, and how dare we question Andy Reid's genius in not running the ball and not utilizing the screen pass in the face of an epically brutal pass rush, a patchwork offensive line and a QB with a hurt toe?
How dare we question his geniusness?

Oh, and Spags? The "great Brady Killer"? They had his defense figured out by the 2nd quarter and he couldn't adjust it. He was Bob Sutton Jr. [Reply]
The lack of practice at the pro level and the lack of development because of the spread in college has degraded OL play across the league.
I have a hard time believing that KC is just the lucky team that has had four years of bad OL play that's on a level that's demonstratively worse than the other 31 teams. [Reply]

Running the same offense essentially.
Alex Smith is a 10+yr veteran who's started pretty much his whole entire career, with exception to his rookie season and Kaepernick eventually taking over during his last season w/ SF.
He's been in Reid's offense going on 3 yrs now...again a 10-yr veteran QB.
You tell me where the problem lies. (yes Reid and his shitty ass play calling deserves much blame too).
They've played two pitiful teams with one good game against a team missing it's 2nd best player. Far too early to being judging the Eagles. Cowboys are going to win that division... [Reply]

2(3) games is way too early to judge the Eagles. 4 years is plenty of time to judge the Chiefs. [Reply]
Reid now has 164 career wins in his 16th season. For those of you who can't do simpke math, that is an average of 10+ wins per season for his career. I would say that is a pretty good coach. He is currently 15th in wins all time and 3rd among active coaches. Jeff Fisher is second, but has 6 more seasons, yet only 8 more wins, Andy will pass him possibly as soon as this season, but more likely next season. Bill Parcells sits at number 10 all time with 172 career wins. That's 8 wins away. Reid could, and most likely will, move ahead of him into that number 10 spot by the end of this season. If that's a bad football coach, then what does that say about the rest of the coaches in the league not named Bill Belichick? [Reply]
I'll say it again, Reid was a great coach to turn things around but we should have been developing a shortlist to replace him almost as soon as we hired him.
