I wonder if Rick has become 'too wild to live inside' now. Even if Alexandria is a safe place and they don't have evil nefarious plans, he isn't capable of trusting others anymore. His dream life of being a farmer in the secure prison grounds blew up, Terminus offered sanctuary and put him on the menu. Can he ever be civilized again?
It looks like they have trust issues in next weeks preview. [Reply]
First thing I thought was they were piping in noises of children playing.
When the "kirby guy" shows up and tries to recruit them he made a point of saying that once inside Rick's baby could cry and no one outside the walls could hear her.
Which I also found kind of creepy.
I imagined the sounds of children playing coming from the gate and as soon as the gate opens there's 30 people with guns and a guy eating Bob-B-Q... [Reply]

yep, notice how the preview showed them walking around an empty house and also how he got all sketchy when whatsherface asked him why there were no people in the pictures [Reply]

The baby crying comment could be construed as creepy but it could have also just meant that they they didn't have to worry about Judith being a zombie whistle when she cried. But given it's Walking Dead, there is probably something god-awful behind what he said. [Reply]
The Alexandria folks need Rick's group to deal with threats coming from Negan's group and they would do anything, AKA lie like the dickens, to get Rick's group to join them.
Not sure if I needed to spoiler that but figured better safe than sorry. [Reply]
