Unless they're really being weaselly, I'd take 'functional' to mean the scoop brings in air IN ADDITION TO the cold air intake box.
Again copy and pasted........
You can see the ducting at the rear of the scoop in this picture and where it goes into the back of the airbox. [Reply]

No air goes into that engine that doesn't go through that blue filter. The scoop has a duct that opens into the air box. That's it. [Reply]

yep. you can download it to usb or just view it in the console. All the micro data is there down to the G-forces in the passenger and driver sides. [Reply]
Big news. 20 MPG on the last tank! Which included a 100+ mile road trip up and down a mountain pass. And only twice going to work this week where I punched it to get on the freeway since I was first in line from the light to the on ramp. Other than that, its shift skipping when cruising around town (skipping 3rd) and neutral with rolling to lights when they change. [Reply]

3.09 Rear Axle ratio is the size of your gears. I would like ask the car geeks why that size of gears were chosen as it seems undersized for that engine to me? Sure it's higher top end speed but that seems lacking on acceleration then or does that huge engine more than make up for it? [Reply]
Want to spend 5 grand or less, car has to be local to MO, or KC/STL metro areas.
Enthusiast cars only, rough or high miles OK,RWD or AWD only. No rotarys, modified OK, must have fuel injection.
Anyone on the board selling, or know a buddy that is selling something like that? I have scoured craigslist, and lots of enthusiast forums, but havent found that right car yet. [Reply]
