God this just reinforces my assertion that I never want the Chiefs to draft a high floor QB.

It’s not a good thing to gloat about a high floor QB being “smart and accurate!” when there’s proof all over the league that high ceiling type QB’s like Mahomes, Allen and Love have improved their accuracy and also had good football IQ to go with it.
Nix is gonna put them in football purgatory bc this isn’t the NFC where there aren’t a ton of elite caliber QB’s in the way. [Reply]
Reminds me some of how things were shaping up for Herbert. Fell off the radar for awhile and then blasted back on during draft process. For Nix, his tape was better than Herbert's in his last season.

I applaud Denver for taking a swing at it but man if you are then go big. Taking a guy off the board at 13 that you could have had in round 2 or 3 just seems silly. There are Nix all over the league as back-ups. [Reply]
