Okay, let’s hear you two geniuses Chiefsplain what is wrong with that statement.
As a reminder, the comment was “Bo Nix’s upside is a more athletic Drew Brees.” Let’s hear your brilliant football takes regarding which part of Drew Brees’ game is obviously superior to Bo Nix’s game? [Reply]

:-) You do realize his leading WR transfered to LSU after Mahomes left for the NFL and completely tanked his stock, yeah? Almost like Mahomes elevated his play. [Reply]

The cool thing about the offseason every year is that you get to see Donk fans in here that you haven't seen since about week 3 of the previous regular season. :-) [Reply]

If I counted the 2018 and 2023 drafts from TT and Auburn, Mahomes and Bo would’ve both had 5 offensive players drafted.
Mahomes had no skill position players that were drafted highly or have been heard from since.
Even if they had comparable talent around them...I'm not sure what that proves. Mahomes consistently put up huge numbers and set records. Nix was bad in 3 out of 5 years. [Reply]

Drew Brees is arguably the most accurate QB we've ever seen. He's a HOF QB.
Did a little digging on reddit to see what Auburn fans think of Nix, and the main takeaways were:
*Most say that he wasn't a bad player, but erratic, and the biggest problem was the OL
*He was coached by a potato
*Some say that's just revisionist history now that he's had success at Oregon, and that Auburn fans hated him while he was there
The most common comment I saw: he's an arrogant little prick with a sense of entitlement. Also, the locker room was against him. [Reply]

90 of those 370 passing yards, and one of his TD passes, came in the fourth quarter, which started with LSU up 42-20.
(I'm only trying to hold Mahomes to the same standard that you're holding Bo Nix to.)
At this point in his career, it doesn’t matter what Mahomes did or didn’t do in college. We’ve seen what he can do in the NFL and he’s currently the best.
We have not seen Nix perform in the NFL yet, so all we have is his college tape and stats, etc. to go off of to try and draw conclusions about what he may or may not become.
But none of it matters till he gets on the field. We’ll see if he’s got it or not then. [Reply]
Nix- sense of entitlement, arrogant. Will there be a Zack-Bo war splitting the locker room. Is steedman one too, this seems to be a Donkey QB common thread [Reply]
