It's amusing the Broncos fans think it matters who they draft.
What none of them is realize is they've never seen Mahomes at his finest. They've sucked so bad Mahomes has never played a meaningful game against them. It's like a cat toying with a mouse. They have no idea what playoff Mahomes would do to them.
They could've drafted Caleb Williams, MHJ, Joe Alt and Brock Bowers, and Mahomes would still take their asses behind the woodshed if we met in the playoffs. [Reply]

I don’t think Denver fans remember or think about the playoffs at all anymore.
They’re just tired of being a laughingstock and they did nothing to change that with drafting of Bo and signing Zach Wilson [Reply]
The Nix Era came from a pivotal private workout the Broncos held March 18 with Nix in Eugene, Ore. Paton and head coach Sean Payton were there. So was (Troy) Franklin, by the way.
And it was there that Nix became Payton’s choice, even if most if not all of the so-called QB experts had him ranked behind Maye and McCarthy, and even Penix.
Paton offered a little more detail to that famed private workout to 9NEWS.
“I’d watched all the quarterbacks, seen them live (during the regular season on scouting trips),’’ Paton said. “And then the season’s over, I get with Sean and we watched the quarterbacks (on tape). And Sean liked a lot of these quarterbacks.
“And when we got to Bo it was pretty instant. Sean was like, ‘man.’ You know, Sean.
“He really liked him and then we went to the private workout and spent three hours with Bo in the meeting setting and he was outstanding. And we go out to the field and he made 10, 15 throws and Sean came up to me and said, ‘This is the guy.’
“And I said, ‘Hey, we’ve got a whole process to go through. But he was really the target from then on.”
Well, I am not getting wrapped up in draft grades or when they should have drafted Nix.
They needed a QB, liked him and drafted him. If it works out, nobody will care where he was drafted or should have been drafted. If he fails, just another in a long line… [Reply]

Definitely Meinerz and maybe Sutton and that's about it.

Exactly. Nobody takes the consensus QB6 and then comes out and says he was their QB 5/6.
I'm not saying it's a lie, just that it doesn't really mean anything. The Falcons said Penix was their QB2. I'm sure the Vikings are saying McCarthy was a top 3 QB for them as well. [Reply]

Bolles and Meinerz full time starters. Sutton, Williams, and Dulcich would get a nice bit of work at their respective positions. [Reply]
