I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

5 minutes into that game we knew the Chiefs couldn't be bothered.
Those guys were all sorts of amped up about this. They had so many pieces fall into place.
And then it was like Indiana Jones shooting the sword fighter. All that flash for the most unceremonious and anti-climactic end possible.
And you know that if the Chiefs had won that game and gotten the Bengals into the playoffs, they would have been laughing their asses off if they had met and beaten the Chiefs. "All you had to do was let Denver win and we wouldn't even have been here!!"
I love it. I wanted them out and if came down to us I wanted a loss. Screw them and their arrogance. They sit and be mad. Chase will screw them on his contact. He will not care about Higgins staying and will demand a lot of money. JJ gets 35 mil per with 110 guranteed and he will want more. [Reply]

Win your own games morons.
One more. Just win one more.
That's all it took.
Instead of going 2-7 against playoff teams, go 3-6. If you can't win ONE THIRD of your games against playoff teams, maybe you don't belong in the post-season?
OR instead of losing to the fucking Patriots, DON'T lose to the fucking Patriots. [Reply]
But yea, the Bengals aren't in the playoffs because we DIDN'T go 9-1 against playoff teams. Shit, Cincy -- we beat them for you once. We womped Pittsburgh for you as well so they'd lost the division lead and had little to play for when y'all squared off.
We did a fair bit to help you out -- you needed us to do MORE? [Reply]
If you want to argue that Burrow's stats prove he's superior to other top QBs, then his postseason stats prove he's lesser when it matters. Can't have it both ways. [Reply]

And the Chiefs won as many AFCN games against their counterparts than they did, in half the number of games. (and of course more AFCN games overall) [Reply]

And Burrow was awful in that Patriots loss… the Bengals allegedly “great” offense only scored 10 points.
He was bad vs the Giants as well… and was carried by his defense to a win. [Reply]
