I like AXS TV, Mark Cuban owns it. They do Inside MMA with Bas Rutten every Friday. After that they show some of the smaller promotions live fights. They normally use Michael Schivallo and Pat Miletich announcing. It's pretty entertaining. [Reply]

Ive cut 17 lbs (206 to 189) in 48 hours to make weight for weight for Jiu Jitsu tournaments and it was complete and utter hell. Good luck to her losing 24 on such a small frame. [Reply]
So, big news made tonight in one tweet from Dana, but we need to be VERY skeptical about this because I think the fans are collectively being used by Dana and/or the UFC to pressure Eddie into signing a bout agreement. Also, we can't discount the possibility that Dana is drunk and talking silly shit.
Uhhh.... wow. Random fan asks Dana if Eddie Alvarez is going to fight Conor for the LW title at UFC 205. Perfectly reasonable speculation, a lot of people are calling that shot. Dana says no, he's fighting Khabib Nurmagomedov, which holy shit that would be big news both for the fact that the Alvarez fight isn't happening, AND that looks like a HORRIFIC matchup for Conor. In that weight division, there is not a 155 fighter on the planet who I think would be a worse matchup for Conor. if he can actually somehow beat the Eagle, then fuck it, at that point I think Conor can do anything.
Because it looks like such a terrible matchup for their golden boy, you gotta think there are negotiation shenanigans going on. (or Dana is goofing off). Also, a UFC official quickly denied that anything is decided about Conor's next fight. [Reply]

I got the impression he was saying Khabib would be fighting Alvarez for the LW title. [Reply]

I think he's terrified of Khabib.
I read that Conor is rehabbing his knee, so he may not have been an option.
Reportedly the UFC sent bout agreements to Alvarez and Khabib for UFC 205 but they also had a deadline. Khabib signed, but Alvarez didn't so at the deadline they ripped that deal up and told them they are off the NY card and can fight at UFC 206 if they want. [Reply]

Eddie vs Khabib will probably be 206. No clue about Conor. They don't really need him for super cards like this, people were talking about how they blew it at 200. Well no, not really, he helped them at 202 more than he would have for 200. Maybe they can have Conor fight at 207 to end the year. [Reply]
