Bo is the anti-Russ. He’s very, very hard to sack

He’s just calmer under pressure than everybody else

Paired pressure to sack rate with success rate on pressured dropbacks to see if avoiding sacks meant throwing the ball away/-EPA plays or successful plays. Bo Nix was rarely pressured but when he was he was elite at mitigating it #CFB #CollegeFootball pic.twitter.com/tNBSrGh1Vo

If I were motivated, I'd go look up the defensive rankings of the teams Nix played against out west, but I'm just not that motivated.

I'd hate to pee on the first flicker of hope Bronco fan has had in literal months. *insert smiley emoji here*

Blitz Nix at your own risk, Bo will find the open guy

Sack rate when one or more receiver was charted as open last year

Spencer Rattler 8.5%
Caleb Williams 8.4%
Drake Maye 5.8%
J.J. McCarthy 5.2%
Jayden Daniels 4.5%
Michael Penix Jr. 1.7%
Bo Nix 1.6%

Can’t believe they drafted this with the 12th pick. Short throws, doesn’t hit many downfield at all and froze badly when his first read was taken away.

I love that they reached for this kid :-)

Pressure to Sack Rate in college vs NFL EPA per dropback…

God Bo Nix is terrible. Going to be hilarious looking back at this rerun pimping him. Denver was desperate and picked a second day QB.

You'd think Bronco fans would know better than to be optimistic. :-)

If true, we learned from watching Chiefs fan do it for 50 years.

taking the 35-40th ranked prospect at #12 is just a bad pick. If Denver took BPA(Bowers) and LV took Nix at 13 everyone would be laughing at LV. Especially when he wouldnt beat out Garner Minchew. :-). Nix is the lowest ceiling QB of the top 6 or 7. Now Brock Bowers may not reach his full potential in LV but they didnt panic and take the 6th or 7th ranked QB at #13. I think Atlantas Penix at #8 was bad too but hes got a higher ceiling than Nix. Best case scenario is youve got yourself a reliable dink and dunk game manager.

Bo Nix is literally the same age as Trevor Lawrence, way to go old at 12.

That’s not getting them past us.
It's the kind of pick that makes some sense if you're loaded and ready to win now. Given all of this and his age, it makes no sense with where they're at.
