He’s just calmer under pressure than everybody else
Paired pressure to sack rate with success rate on pressured dropbacks to see if avoiding sacks meant throwing the ball away/-EPA plays or successful plays. Bo Nix was rarely pressured but when he was he was elite at mitigating it #CFB#CollegeFootballpic.twitter.com/tNBSrGh1Vo
Can’t believe they drafted this with the 12th pick. Short throws, doesn’t hit many downfield at all and froze badly when his first read was taken away.

taking the 35-40th ranked prospect at #12 is just a bad pick. If Denver took BPA(Bowers) and LV took Nix at 13 everyone would be laughing at LV. Especially when he wouldnt beat out Garner Minchew. :-). Nix is the lowest ceiling QB of the top 6 or 7. Now Brock Bowers may not reach his full potential in LV but they didnt panic and take the 6th or 7th ranked QB at #13. I think Atlantas Penix at #8 was bad too but hes got a higher ceiling than Nix. Best case scenario is youve got yourself a reliable dink and dunk game manager. [Reply]

That’s not getting them past us.
It's the kind of pick that makes some sense if you're loaded and ready to win now. Given all of this and his age, it makes no sense with where they're at. [Reply]
