I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

More importantly, do you remember Gary Reasons patting Shula on the head while Shula was trying to yell at him during a game against the Steelers on MNF?
I don't remember that. When I was a kid I always thought of the Bengals as the bad team who's helmets I liked. lol I do remember Kijana Carter getting injured though.
I also remember wanting to beat Randy Cross with a baseball bat during the 2003 loss when Ochocinco predicted the win. [Reply]

All kidding aside, Mike Brown is only urgent about putting more nickels in the piggy bank.
Hey man, I get it. I almost stopped being a fan of the Chiefs during the season, 5 months before they drafted Mahomes.
After Carl Peterson and Scott Pioli, I honestly thought I was going to die never seeing them raise a Lamar Hunt trophy (fuck I wasn't even wishing for a Super Bowl win).
You're truly a gem. I know I bust your balls a lot but to be fair to you, it's because your fellow Bengals fans are some of the dumbest, most obnoxious fans on social media. I mean, they rival Raider fans in their delusional stupidity. [Reply]

Yes to your second point and it's why i keep saying they're trying to re-invent the wheel. It's almost a foregone conclusion that Tee will be re-signed. In a wierd, ironic twist of events, it's their penny-pinching that would allow them to sign both WRs and still put a team on the field to compete. Like i said before, they just need an average Oline and defense and they're competitive, but do they have the brains to find those players. the magic 8 ball isn't so sure right now.
I'd love for them to do things that have traditionally been sucessful for other NFL franchises, but they won't let me in the building to twist all of their stupid arms off.
So they might just go all in on the 2018 Chiefs approach. All offense, no defense. Hope it's enough to win shootouts and see how far you can go. At least you have a fighting chance in every game with a strong offense. [Reply]

Who remembers this disprespect of Dave Shula?
Gary Reason was awful.... He was more well known for the tug of Dave Shula cap game vs Steelers in 1992 on MNF. 🤦🏽*♂️
All the more reason to rejoice in todays culture maintained by this front office, Coach Taylor and staff. pic.twitter.com/vcSYleFcQ4

I wouldn't say "disrespect" though. I don't remember Shula ever commanding respect at any point. [Reply]

If they go all in on offense, not doing too much to the D, it has to be with the Oline included.
I don't see that happeneing though. They'll put some money into the D. My #1 priority is the Oline. [Reply]
I think some of it is a little overblown, or hyperbolic, or whatever you want to call it--to an extent. The number of 1 score losses were insane. Teams usually win half of those. This year, before going 3-0 in their final 5, they were 1-7 in one score games.
Any single one of those 7...any one...and they're in the playoffs right now.
The Chiefs were an insane 11-1 in one score games. Any single one of those wins goes the other way and you have to play starters for the #1 seed.
This was just a weird season.
The thing is...in order for the changes that need(ed) to happen for this team, it's probably best that it turned out the way it did. One more win or one more loss from KC and who knows how this offseason goes after the playoffs are finished? [Reply]

Get to the NFC. Your odds of reaching the SB increase x10.
It worked for him in college when he couldn’t beat out the random OSU QBs and had to transfer to the stacked LSU team to finally win. It’s no wonder he is begging for Higgins. To him having two number 1 receivers is just normal. [Reply]
