Dolphins WR Tyreek Hill was detained by police today entering the stadium for a driving violation, per his agent Drew Rosenhaus. But Rosenhaus said Hill will play today.

I randomly clicked to the middle of that video only to be reminded that Tyreek is a complete ****ing idiot. While sitting on the curb cuffed the cop asked him if he has anything on him like keys or other phones.

Reek: I got a weapon on me.
Cop: Where is it.
Reek: A big one. Ha
Reek still flopped out on the sidewalk: Man, I thank god for this.
...which leads to him being sat up and searched.
Reek: It's my Tattoo. I got a nine on me. I got a tattoo of a nine on me.
Reek: Proceeds to clown an officer for not being an athlete.
Cop says: Write him a ticket and let him go play.
Reek: Hell na, do more than write a ticket Sir.
Cop: Reek, do you want to miss this game?
Reek: Moves to saying he won't be playing today because the cop ****ed his knee up.
Reek: Moves to completely making shit up when explaining the situation to what I assume is a higher ranking officer.

On and on.

This clown should never be taken seriously. Just watch him run and hope he somehow manages to stay lucrative enough to support his herd of heathens until they're self supporting.

There's a detour sign right in the video. There's only a few reasons to have a detour sign, all of which normally lead to escalating fines and tickets for being in a coned caution zone. There's also multiple crosswalks and pedestrian signage. It's pretty clear they could have racked up a few more tickets if they wanted to.

Cop: Write him a ticket so he can go.

Reek: Na fuck that, let me act a fool.

I wish Denverchief would chime in here. I think there are other Police Officers that post here but can't remember their IDs.

The Officer who was put on administrative leave has 27 years of service. I got to believe its how he was trained or something set him off. Reek rolling up his blackout windows triggered danger most likely and maybe felt his partner was in immediate danger.

Reeks pride and dumb ass mouth could have ended a lot worse than being yanked out of his car and taken to the ground and cuffed. Reek was sure willing to drag his teammates in on his mouthing-off problems. Kept telling them don't go.

What should have happened?
What should have happened? After Hill put his window down completely and handed his paperwork over the cop should have gone back to his bike and written the ticket. End of story. He was pulled over for speeding - write the ticket.

It was never about officer safety.within seconds of asking him to exit you have an officer cursing and threatening to break his window and getting violent. Seconds. They were so concerned about they don’t even frisk him. This was all about hurt egos.

Also 6-7 cops for a speeding ticket where the driver promptly pulls over?

They told him to keep his window down and he needs to do it. As far as the number of officers, That's the number of officers working the detail and they observed him speeding further up the road and called it into the officer that initially pulled him over.

He was asked to leave the scene almost eight times and refused to do so and that's why he got a ticket. Never involve yourself in a traffic stop that does not concern you. And unless you're in the vehicle that got pulled over it does not concern you.

I've had worse interactions with police while complying with everything and giving yes sir's

Tyreek isn't 100% innocent in this like they are making it out to be

He does not have to leave the scene. It's a public side walk. He was more than a safe distance away that it was not interfering.

The only thing he would need to do is move the vehicle which he offered to have his friend do.

You can call leaving the scene or maintain some kind of distance but either way he's getting involved in the traffic stop and you shouldn't do it. Next time you're out and about getting involved in one tell us how it works out for you.

It is perfectly legal to watch and record cops performing their duty in a public place. As long as you are a safe distance away and not obstructing the officers. You need to learn your rights.

The cops pretty clearly:

1) Knew who he was.
2) Knew where he was going.
3) Decided to detain him.

Reek is an idiot, but I'm not sure the cops are dumb enough to think this was a good look on their part.

It's not clear he cares what is and is not legal OR what one's rights actually are.

I'm fully aware my rights and I have no desire to film police officers or otherwise get involved in their business when they're performing their duty. If they ask or tell me to leave the area then I'm going to leave the area.

It's not about explicitly looking good as you say. it's about performing the duty they were paid to do and that is to keep people like Tyreek Hill you or anybody from causing unsafe driving conditions. And now that Hill has publicly admitted that he handled it poorly, I think you'll see all of this disappear.

He absolutely handled it poorly. The cop, somehow, handled it worse. One of them is paid to handle it well and the other is not. I'll see if you can figure out which is which.
