Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.
The DoubleWood is easy drinking. It's got that Speyside character plus it's finished in sherry barrels, so it's smooth and sweet. Since you like bourbon so much, I think you'll like the Balvenie as well. [Reply]

I did find a damn good blended Scotch on the cheap though, John Buhl. At $20 its a fucking steal IMO.

Yeah, that pour was a little aggressive but I sipped it through the entire KC game. Loved it. Got a lot of dark fruit with more citrus than I remember for the taster I had back in November. [Reply]

I found old forrester at the bottom shelf of my government approved liquor store... Im pretty sure it's going to take 3-4 hours to sip down that pour. [Reply]
