Okay, here is a place for the Golfers to talk about tournaments, clubs, swing help or thoughts.
Today is the Players Championship, which I think ought to be the 5th Major. Largest pot in the PGA. The daunting 17th, which seems to bring excitement every year. At least we will get to see Sergio blow up yet again.

I think that helps them stay so focused.
These top guys are all robots. Tiger was no different in his prime. Once he went off the rails with the whores, his life and golf game went to shit. [Reply]

Absolute insanity on the last round of the PGA event today. They were fighting darkness to try and get the final round in. The final group had Max Greyserman who completely blew a big lead on the back 9 for a wild finish, and Matt Kuchar who was out of it.
They get to 18 in the pitch dark, and Kuchar doesn't wait and blasts his tee shot into the group ahead that's standing in the fairway. Dangerous move. Presumably to ensure they got to finish tonight, but then for Kuchar's second shot he goes to the official and says he's done for the day. The rest of the group gets to go ahead and finish their round. So now everyone else is done and Kuchar is going to come back in the morning to finish 18 by himself while being 7 shots down. Never seen that before. Grounds crew has to really love this. :-) [Reply]
Kuchar continues to be a total d-bag. Not surprised at all by these latest antics and his explanation doesn't even make sense.
On another note....just got back from a 3 day trip to French Lick for our annual KC vs STL I-70 Cup that my college buddies and I do every summer. Totally in the middle of nowhere and not much going on outside of the resort, but the golf is the tits. Pristine grounds and worth making the trip if any of you have never played. The Dye course gets all the love but I liked the Ross course just as much. [Reply]
There was something more that was going on that pissed Kuchar off.
The quick tee off on 18 into the group in front of him made me feel like they were pissed they kept waiting so long and wanted Aaron Rai put on the clock. He can be very slow like a lot of Europeans and then Kuchar is stuck playing in the dark.

I think he wanted to stick it to them.
I would like to hear the whole story.
He said after the round apparently that he didn't think the tournament should have had them playing that late. He did it out of a protest. What he thought he would accomplish by doing so other than looking like an asshole, though, I'm not sure. [Reply]
I bet he really cares what you think as he counts his millions.
Oh, I think it's pretty clear he doesn't care what anybody thinks. That's why he's back out there this morning dragging volunteers/supervisors back so he can play a few shots after his entire group finished. [Reply]
This guy is the most useless motherfucker on Tour. I hate his fake "aww shucks" attitude, his bitchmade grind-it out-for-a-top-25 risk-averse playstyle, his 75-year-old man swing plane, and his caddy-stiffing, cheapskate bitch ass. This cunt needs to fuck off to LIV with Zach Johnson so I never have to hear about either one of them again. [Reply]
