I like the guy. he's not a brain surgeon nor does he try to be. he's just a fighter....and one helluva tough sumbitch. he makes me laugh. I like him for just being who he is....just a fighter....and when he says he don't give a fuck....he REALLY doesn't! :-)
everybody thought he'd get beat first time around. and what does he say right after the fight....first words....
That fight would have been scored properly at 48-47 either way. Round 2 was the key IMO, Conor won the 1st half, Nate the second.
Cerrone looks fantastic at 170, he just knocked out 2 guys who've never been knocked out before. I understand why he wants to fight Alvarez again but man he looks good at WW [Reply]

Agreed with that scoring assessment but can see a 10-8 round in the 3rd. When you appear to be beaten so badly people a stoppage looks close a 10-8 should be awarded. [Reply]

I agree, it's ONE thing boxing does well that MMA could learn from. I liked the Pride scoring too, if you beat the crap outta someone for 7.5 minutes and then they lay n pray for 7.5 minutes you should win. [Reply]
Under the UFC/USADA rules, the window for in-competition ends 6 hours after the fight. He won't fail a test, but Diaz was seen vaping after the fight and when the media asked him what it was, he flat-out told them it was CBD oil.
USADA is now investigating, and they don't really need a test result if he admitted to it. It doesn't really violate the spirit of the rules because its intended to keep fighters from fighting while stoned and the 6 hours is to allow a test after the fight if they didn't test right before the fight, but technically its a violation that could be up to 1 year. Hopefully he won't get the full year, and then who knows what the NSAC will do. [Reply]

Good Lord, leave that dude alone. Cerrone gets hammered at the post fight press conference. No fucking difference [Reply]
