Obviously modern players benefit from better overall conditioning. One of the side effects of this is how the thin air thing isn't really a factor in games anymore. There was a time when Denver would win at least two games a year because of that shit that they wouldn't otherwise. But no more.

One of the best comments I read over there was something like
“At least we’re still a few years from competing, and Mahomes will be older by the time we’re there. At least we’re not in the middle of a window like Bills/Bengals/Ravens that are constantly being blocked by KC.”

Love it!
Just conceding the next decade. Broncos have accepted their reality looking up at the Chiefs.
Two franchises in completely different tiers. [Reply]

Do you want to know what the absolute best thing about last night was? It wasn't the back to back Super Bowl wins, it wasn't watching Mahomes grab his 3rd MVP, it wasn't watching us get another Super Bowl win in the Raiders brand new stadium before they could even sniff the postseason.
Those were all just icing on the cake. No, the best thing was making that useless washed-up alcoholic Elway bring us the Lombardi, like some defeated peasant leader bringing tribute to his new rulers. If that fuck had a moment of sobriety left in him, he would realized how humiliating that menial task was and bowed out.
The closest anyone associated with your team will come to touching a Lombardi is when they hand it to us. What a dickless bunch of beta bitches. [Reply]

It was the 25th anniversary of Super Bowl XXXII. Elway was either going hand the trophy to the Chiefs or the team that beat him 55-10. So who cares? :-) [Reply]
REPORT: The #Broncos are open to the possibility of re-engaging in talks with Russell Wilson about restructuring his contract to keep him in Denver for 2024, per @RapSheetpic.twitter.com/3LLTsGOtzD
It feels like somebody in the Broncos front office decided to pick up and read Russell's contract extension details and had an "oh shit" moment. [Reply]
