Just like #ChiefsKingdom has always been there for me and my family, we want to be there for them.❤️
The @Chiefs have launched #KCStrong, an emergency response fund supporting victims and their families, violence prevention and mental health services, and first responders.… pic.twitter.com/sYMnPgCWL0
Friendly mod reminder, this thread is about yesterday's shooting. Not about gun control, gun laws, politics, or anything of that nature. If you need everyone to know what's wrong in this world and how you'd fix it, grab your megaphone and soapbox and take it to DC, thanks. [Reply]

Pretty shocking that there's 182 homicides last year in a metropolitan area with 2 million people. In the UK there were 590 homicides last year but our population is 67 million. And we've got a lot less Jesus than you've got. [Reply]

I think more people have been killed in the name of God than anything else in the history of the world...so.. [Reply]

If the government gave every resident of UK a gun tomorrow the murder rate would go up but it would be small and nowhere near the USA gun murder rate. Its culture and mainly upbringing. I'm certainty willing to ban guns, especially rapid fire guns, but that's not even going to make a dent. [Reply]
