That's not hard to imagine. They have a bunch of rookies in the secondary and they got rid of two pretty experienced receivers in the off-season, including a dude who is arguably the most explosive receiver in the league.

There were even media people predicting KC to miss the Playoffs. If I remember right, at least one of them predicted KC to finish dead last in the AFC West division because the other 3 AFC West teams made some pretty expensive moves in the off-season while KC did the opposite. Chiefs have made it further than expected at this point IMHO.

We’re not too worried, your organization is one of the cheapest and most poorly run in football. You’ll be lucky if Brown actually ponies up to keep Burrow. Even if he does, you will lose a ton of good players the next 1-2 years and the Chiefs will be right back on top as we’re only just opening our “2nd” window with Mahomes.

You see, Burrow is not Mahomes. He can’t carry a team like Pat can. Once he doesn’t have 3 #1 WRs and an elite defense, he will fade back to reality pretty quickly. So enjoy this while you can. In two years, no matter what happens in this game, the Chiefs will still be on top and the Bengals will be playing second fiddle again, if they’re even relevant at all.
