The Broncos allegedly had the conversation with Russ during their bye week. Supposedly told him if he didnt remove his injury guarantee, then they would bench him in the second half (to avoid potential injury).
They didn’t follow through with it till 2 games left (cause they figured they could get away with it then under the guise of ‘looking at players for next year). [Reply]
