And they dont have a 2nd. They traded it for Payton. :-) [Reply]
Currently have the 14th pick. They should finish 8-9 at worst and pick outside the top 15 away from the top QB's. And if they want the 3rd QB they'll have to give up a fortune to do it
Truly the best outcome. C'mon Russ win these last 2 and get to 9-8! [Reply]
It's Christmas so I'm not going to pile on a bunch of fans that already must feel terrible about how the game ended.
As a Chiefs fan who watched their team refuse to draft a QB and give away draft picks for a QB another team deemed expendable, it still stuns me that a team in the same division, who benefitted from the Chiefs refusal to take a chance, does exactly the same thing and sees the same results.
False hope is the worst hope. It's like trusting someone that you know you shouldn't and yet it still hurts when they show why you shouldn't have trusted them. [Reply]

Screw that. When the Chiefs were bad they were here posting every minute of the day, but the minute the tables were turned they stopped "talking football " The win streak magically they weren't busy anymore thinking they were going to the playoffs and beat the Chiefs. Here we are now and Bailey Zappe just ended their season and it's crickets again [Reply]
It's weird. I hate losing, so winning is mostly a good thing. If you are a Donks fan, you have to feel good about getting some wins this season. BUT...you have to know WHY you got those wins. If it was legit because your team was showing marked consistent improvement, they you can look at this season and feel pretty good about it. If however it was due to really bad play by your opponents, and a SHIT TON of luck well...all your winning did was make things worse for the future.
I dunno, I'm torn. If I'm a Donk fan, I guess it's nice to have had some wins. But you just know that your team is pretty much doomed. Something drastic needs to change, and a long building process needs to commence. Maybe Payton will get things moving once y'all find a way to get rid of Russ and blow the whole thing up and start from scratch, but I seriously doubt it.
Welcome to hell Donk fans. Merry Christmas! [Reply]
