I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

They can easily keep all 3 if they want plus dip into free agency.
They don't have a money problem, they have a penny-pinching problem.
They'd be well-served taking that cap space and putting it into Oline and defense.
Become more balanced like they were not too long ago.

That's the penny-pinching part. They'd rather stay comfortable in being under the cap than spending money necessary to give them a really solid Oline and defense.
They have the money ability, they just don't have the brain ability. [Reply]
This is getting a lot of run itt for something that has slim to no chance of happening. The Jets are a coin toss and the Chiefs practice squad’s double digit dogs.
No idea about the first pillow fight but I’d be shocked if Denver doesn’t win - they have so much to play for….as for the Chiefs you can talk about winning being important and being a professional and I am sure they mean it but there is an edge Denver will have bc they are desperate and need it and the Chiefs don’t. They’ll put out a professional effort with backups on the road in a playoff environment, lose, and Denver will party…….only to get smoked in Buffalo next week. [Reply]

The Bungholes are going to go all in on a roster that finished 9-8 and will likely miss the playoffs?
Higgins will either play for not much or walk. He can get 30 mil per year elsewhere if he stays he won't get close to that after chase gets 38. [Reply]

On one hand, Bengals get in. On the other hand, i get to talk about how scared the Chiefs were to play the Bengals all off season.
Easily one of the worst takes in the history of this board, which is wildly impressive. The Chiefs (you know, the actual team and staff) aren’t afraid of the Bengals at all. A few fans may be, because, reasons. But even the majority of the fan base isn’t that way. Personally, I would absolutely love the 7th seed at Arrowhead but I don’t really care because I’m not afraid of the Bills either. Why would the lion ever fear the sheep? [Reply]

That has the be the worst part of being a fan of that team. They are close, but most likely won’t get over the hump because despite the talent and cap space, your owner is a cheapskate. [Reply]

That's not how it would go. Buffalo would have to play Baltimore before playing the Chiefs in AFC title game. I think you want the easiest path possible to AFC title game, which means you don't want Cincy in that 2nd round game. The absolute best case scenario might be this:
1st round - Buffalo defeats Cincy in a multiple overtime game.
2nd round - Baltimore vs. Buffalo goes to multiple overtimes.
Meanwhile Chiefs cruise to victory in the 2nd round against a team like Houston. But I don't trust Buffalo to defeat Cincy, so I want the Bengals eliminated today by Denver or Miami. [Reply]
