You can’t make this stuff up - what a great time to be a Chiefs fan! We’re a dynasty and they’re possibly the worst franchise in the NFL, with no hope of getting better for at least half a decade! :-)

Payton is replacing Russ next season, we just don’t know how yet. If we get #1, it’s probably Caleb. If we get #2 it’s probably Maye. If we pick lower than that it might be a trade, FA, or later pick. In that case, we may as well get a good player. No defender in this draft is worth a pick that high, IMO.
You will get another Surtain with your top draft pick and you will like it.
