But for the playoff run I think we’ll see some very big games
I'm confident his ramp-up period is far shorter than most. He has an excellent understanding of what neeeds to be done to maximize productivity in the short week(s). He and Patrick will get on the same page about zone expectations and what routes he can still win on in man-to-man. The most important discussion will be about red zone routes. [Reply]
I dont know if I should believe anything on my google news feed.
One story---Tyreek was mad at the Chiefs signing of Hopkins.
Dude--you took the money. and your coach is a high school football commentator. Your QB is glass and should retire.
Live in that house you chose. [Reply]

Why mad? Mad that the Chiefs are now favored in the AFC over the powerhouse phins, or that they didn't sell the farm to bring him back? OF course, if you are looking for a common sense reaction from that account, well... [Reply]

It was not posted until a few minutes ago (10:25 AM Central on Thursday) on the Chiefs official Twitter account. Andy Reid flat out denied the story in his press conference yesterday afternoon because it was not finalized at the time. [Reply]

There's no reason at all to think he can't immediately be fully involved in your first scripted 15.
Then you figure you can probably get him in 3-4 plays over 4-5 formations and find another 15-20 plays worth of snaps.
And then have him running really basic quick-hitter sort of stuff in red zone and 3rd down scenarios for another 5-10 plays.
I see a path for 30-45 snaps as soon as this weekend. And I don't think it would be difficult at all.
Skyy Moore took 33 snaps last week. 40 snaps for Hopkins puts his ass back on the bench where it belongs. [Reply]

That's my bad, because of course I can't find their tweet now. But they made a post in the middle of Andy's presser yesterday that looks identical to the one they just posted a short while ago. Must have been premature. My bad for the callout. [Reply]

It was on Twitter. I saw it yesterday early afternoon, because it was shortly after (or during) Andy's presser. It looks exactly like what they posted a short while ago. It's scrubbed now, so I presume it was just an early trigger finger by the promotions people. [Reply]
