Story #1:
Charles Ross is known for orchestrating outrageous pranks and posting them to Youtube. But this time, the 18-year-old prankster may have gone a step too far.
Ross was arrested for battery Sunday night after he allegedly gave a series of wedgies to moviegoers outside the Carmike Royal Palm 20 in Bradenton, Fla., while a friend filmed the prank, the Bradenton Herald reports.
The underwear prank, which Gawker calls a "wedgie spree," ended badly for Ross when a 20-year-old male victim reported to authorities that Ross grabbed him "by the back of his pants and pulled them up hard," according to the Smoking Gun. Although other victims of the schoolyard prank also came forward, the 20-year-old is the only one seeking charges.
On his Youtube channel, Ross has uploaded video footage of him performing a variety of pranks -- from doing handstands over people to trying out pick-up lines -- but the latest in his compilation is by far one of his most hands-on public displays.
According to the police report obtained by the Smoking Gun, Ross challenged the male victim following the wedgie, "asking if he wanted to hit him."
The Mantee County Sheriff's Office arrested Ross and detained him overnight. He was released on $750 bail, records show, and his court date is set for Feb. 14.
Though Ross' wedgie spree was meant in jest, this is not the first time someone has been arrested for doling out the uncomfortable underwear gag. In 2006, an Albany, N.Y., teacher was arrested for endangering the welfare of a child after allegedly giving a 10-year-old student a wedgie during summer school.

'A' for effort?
Middle school math teacher Mary Maloney allegedly offered oral sex to a police officer after being nabbed for a hit-and-run in Palm Beach County, Fla.
Maloney, 53, was arrested Sunday after she crashed her van into a pickup truck around 8:35 p.m., then took off, according to an arrest report obtained by the Sun Sentinel. A witness to the crash tracked Maloney's car to a parking spot and then called police.
The arresting officer said he found an empty gallon jug of wine behind Maloney's driver's seat and "immediately smelled the strong odor of an alcoholic beverage emitting from her person," according to WPTV. The report states that her eyes were glassy, bloodshot, and partially closed.
The officer that drove Maloney to the police station noted that she asked him "How much do I need to pay you to just let me go? Don't you understand I am a school teacher?"
She then allegedly offered to perform oral sex on him and allow him to fondle her breasts.
Maloney was charged with driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with damage, resisting an officer without violence, driving with a suspended license and attempted bribery of a public servant. [Reply]
Update: The Coral Springs Police Department says the fight took place August 22 at a La Quinta Inn on University Drive near Sample Road. Officers arrested the woman in the teal dress, identified as Summer Cortts, a 39-year-old Boca Raton resident, and charged her with disorderly conduct and inciting an affray because she "escalated the situation by placing her hands on Colleen Dagg."
Some people respond to public displays of racism by keeping their mouths shut, looking down, and pretending like nothing happened. Others casually join in the bigotry.
Another group chimes in, tells a racist to knock it off, gets hit in retaliation, and then whoops somebody's ass in self-defense.
Dagg said online that before the video recording began, the teal-dressed woman was saying a bunch of offensive nonsense to a black Haitian security guard. Dagg told her to pipe down.
Then, as the clip shows, Dagg takes off her shoes in the building's lobby while the teal-dressed woman taunts her.
"Why are you taking your shoes off?" the woman asks. "You gonna hit me with one of your shoes? I'm gonna ****ing shoot you in your ****ing face."
A security guard tells both women to leave.
"I'm taking my shoes off so that if she puts her hands on me, I can defend myself," Dagg responds.
Then the teal-dressed lady gets in Dagg's face and shoves her. In response, Dagg beats the living hell out of her, taunting her for being a racist asshole as she lays down the law.
"You put your ****ing hands on me?!" Dagg shouts as she beats the absolute paint off the woman who provoked the fight. "You say some racist-ass shit, and then you ****ing [unintelligible] on me?"
After security guards break up the fight, the teal-dressed woman begins yelling that she's three months pregnant and that she'll ensure Dagg goes to jail. (As The Root's Yesha Callahan pointed out, why would you start a fight if you're pregnant?) Eventually, a police officer arrives and tells the teal-dressed lady to "calm down and take a seat" multiple times. The woman denies she hit Dagg first, but Dagg turns to the person filming and confirms she has proof.
Coral Springs Police spokesperson Ernesto Bruna confirmed to New Times that the cop in the video works for his department.
"That is one of our officers at the end," Bruna told New Times via phone. He could not immediately confirm if any arrests were made. (Bruna said he's "interested to find out what happened himself.")
It appears Dagg, who did not have a Twitter account before the fight happened, created one to release a statement about the skirmish. (She lists her hometown as "Miami, Florida" online.) Her comments are a pretty pitch-perfect example of how to react when you see some racist stuff go down:
Update 1 p.m.: According to Coral Springs PD, the fight happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday at the La Quinta Inn at 3701 University Dr. The report doesn't shed any light on the origins of the fight or Dagg's claims that Cortts had made racist comments, but police did find the two woman brawling in the lobby of the hotel. Officers interviewed witnesses and decided that Summer Cortts was at fault for "placing her hands on Colleen Dagg as she was sitting down in the chair."
Although Dagg declined to pursue battery charges, Coral Springs Police say they arrested Cortts on the more minor charges because she "disrupted the peace in a public place." Cortts was also barred from returning to the La Quinta. Court records don't show any previous charges for Cortts in Palm Beach or Broward County; it's unclear if she has an attorney yet.

Accused Florida drug dealer hides $1,000 in rectum
Florida police arrested a man following a traffic stop when they found he was carrying an assortment of drugs and a large amount of money. But the biggest surprise came when they got back to the station and found the cash had disappeared but $20 bills were falling from his rectum.
A Marion County deputy pulled over Pattreon Stokes, 26, for speeding in the early hours of the morning Saturday, cops said in a Facebook post. During the stop, the officer smelled marijuana and upon searching the car, he found methamphetamine, rock cocaine and heroin. A scale was also recovered from the vehicle.
Police said he was carrying a “small amount of marijuana and a large amount of currency on his person.” They arrested Stokes and brought him to Marion County Jail.
But when they got there, cops said the money they found earlier was gone. Stokes claimed that deputies had already collected it, but “this was certainly not true,” police wrote in the post.
“Detention deputies then noticed something quite unusual...” the post reads. “They observed $20.00 bills falling from Stokes’ buttocks area.”
In a process cops called “necessary but undesirable” for everyone involved, they found $1,090.00 in U.S. currency hidden in Stokes’ rectum.
“Judging from Stokes’ mug shot, he looks pretty ‘bummed’ about the whole situation,” police joked.
The Facebook post went on to apologize to the “wonderful cashiers” in Marion County, writing that they’d would understand if cash handlers chose to use gloves.
Police added that there was a 7-month-old child in the front passenger seat of Stokes’ car when he was arrested. Stokes is charged with Smuggling Contraband into a Detention Facility, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Trafficking Heroin, Possession of Cocaine with the Intent to Sell, Manufacture or Deliver, Possession of Marijuana and Possession of Drug Equipment.
A mother-daughter duo was busted earlier this week for an unlicensed massage parlor offering sexual favors.
Anne Dodge, 55, and Jennifer Dodge, 30, were arrested after authorities received a tip alleging prostitution at their home in Sarasota, Florida.
The pair posted ads to Backpage.com advertising their erotic services, news station WFTS reported.
“I am a beautiful, talented, licensed massage therapist whom God uses to bring his healing energy to you and bring you to a whole new level of ecstasy,” a listing for Anne reportedly said.
Between June and August, detectives conducted an undercover operation into their massage business.
During the investigation, Anne performed a massage on an undercover officer for money despite not having a license. Her daughter offered another detective sexual favors for a fee.
Authorities obtained a search warrant of their home Wednesday and uncovered a towel steamer, deep-tissue massage lotion and warming massage oil, according to news station WFVT.
The older Dodge was arrested Wednesday and faces charges that include operating a massage establishment without a license. She was released the same day on $4,000 bond.
Her daughter, Jennifer, was booked Thursday and charged with prostitution. The 30-year-old, who posted the $1,500 bail, has three prior convictions for prostitution.
2 month long investigation! Hahaha. "Has everyone had a turn? Ok, let's take them down now!" [Reply]

A man’s parents reportedly flew from India to Florida to “discipline” his wife for “being disobedience".
Authorities rescued the mother of a one-year-old, from what they described as a “horribly abusive situation”.
The woman, who has not been named, was held in her home against her will by her husband, Devbir Kalsi, 33.
Police said his parents had flown to his home to participate in the abuse.
Investigators believe Kalsi and his parents, Jasbir and Bhupinder Kalsi, had been abusing the woman for a long period of time.
The arrest report said Kalsi struck her “repeatedly and forcefully” and when the woman attempted to defend herself, his parents began hitting her too, leaving bruises on her face, neck and torso,
The victim told her parents in India about the abuse who notified the sheriff’s office, Fox 13 news reported.
When officers arrived at the property to investigate, they had to enter forcibly after they found the door blocked by Kalsi.
The victim was heard inside the property screaming to be saved and asking officers to rescue her child.
She was found with bruises all over her body and told officers that her phone had been taken away and that a knife had been held to her throat.
"I'm both sad and scared at the same time," said her neighbour Stephanie Payne. "I'm upset that this was all going on right across the street from me and I never knew and couldn't do anything about it and couldn't help her because that really breaks my heart to know that a woman and her one-year-old were being treated so poorly and were so scared."
Kalsi and his parents are facing a wide range of charges. They include aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, failure to report child abuse and false imprisonment.
