Those tours are a series of five eight-day missions to the Titanic with the money raised by tourists going towards Titanic research. Posts on social media show the ship launched from the St. John's area last week.

This is not a sub... it is a submersible. The submersible requires a ship to launch from as it doesn't have the power required to get out there on it's own.

Eeeeh. I wouldn't go that far. A lot of folks that ultimately did go on those expeditions did so under orders of whoever ruled that jurisdiction at that given time.
