If you’re about to offload a bunch of players for picks, then there’s plenty of other positions you can draft to start building your roster, while shedding those contracts. A rookie LT gets you 5 years of cost control at a high salary position. Same with Harrison Jr. Why would you want to throw a rookie qb out theee with that squad of talentless players (talking about after the fire sale)? Alex wasn’t the quarterback Andy wanted, but he made it work until he could get someone to run his offense. You don’t think Sean can do that? If your defense wasn’t absolutely trash, you’d probably have more wins than you do. That won’t change with a rookie quarterback. [Reply]

I do not want the Broncos getting anywhere near the bottom of the overall table so they can draft an elite QB. Give them a bit of confidence to get beaten by us by only 1TD in both games and hopefully they end up winning 5 or 6 games this year to continue the rot.
Beginning TE Greg Dulcich's 21-day window for one practice this week after 4 weeks on IR (hamstring) could be an indication Broncos hope he can play THU vs. Chiefs. Sean Payton said he didn't know if Dulcich would be ready for Chiefs, but "he's close." #9sports

I'm kind of sick of hearing about Caleb Williams It's always this guy or that guy year after year and look who most of the star QB's are. Mahomes/Allen/Hurts/LJ/Tua/Herbert....only Burrow is decent #1 overall QB pick in recent memory. Murray? Even can't miss Trevor Lawrence? I'll pass.
How often does tanking for the #1 workout? Once a decade? Tanking is reeruned [Reply]

No, it’s starting to look like the run D won’t be fixed this year. Our interior DL lacks depth and, other than DJ Jones (who got hurt in the first half against the Jets), we don’t have any good interior run defenders up front. [Reply]
I would be so sad watching the 49ers if I was a Broncos fan. That was supposed to be their team. Kyle Shannahan grew up in Denver. He loved being there. He wanted the job and Denver basically blacklisted him. [Reply]

They have a Shanahan, a Kubiak, a McCaffrey, and John Lynch. They’re what Denver should be right now. [Reply]

Remember when you used to compare Wilson to Mahomes? Now you're comparing him to Cassel? What a difference a year makes. :-) [Reply]
The Chiefs should just give Mahomes and Kelce the day off here (not literally, but figuratively).
With our interior O-Line and the Broncos D-Line, Chiefs should be able to run Pacheco all game long without issue. Could easily put up a 200 yard game if they give him 25-30 carries. Even MEH might be able to get some yards against this front. Mix in a little PA from Mahomes and the passing offense can mostly take a breather for this one. Won't need Kelce to win. I would sit him just to be cautious, or at least limit his use on Thursday.

Crazy thing is, Tater has actually been somewhat serviceable so far this year. He's the definition of a stopgap until the major holes on the roster get plugged [Reply]
