It seems weird to me that we play twice in 3 weeks, they normally spread them out. Tennessee and Houston do the same later this year, too. [Reply]

Yeah, it’s definitely strange. Like they figured out most of the schedule then was like “shit we have them playing twice in 3 weeks, what should we do?”. Not really sure who if either team will have an advantage from it. [Reply]

Here's how it plays out:
Jets L
@ KC L
Packers W
Chiefs L
@ Bills L
Vikings W
Browns L
@ Texans L
@ Chargers L
@ Lions L
Patriots L
Chargers L
@ Raiders L
They'll win just enough to miss out on Caleb Williams. They might eek out a few more wins (maybe Patriots/Browns/Raiders/Jets?) to also dodge Maye.
Then they'll have to part ways with some of the most talented players on an already talent-deficient roster due to salary cap woes (nice work, General Payaton!), and will ultimately be the same or worse next season. While KC continues to get better as the youngest roster in the league continues to gain more experience.
Surely those players have helped you rack up some wins. What’s your team’s record currently? Must be good with some studs like that racking up the yards! [Reply]

THE PATON PLAN is coming along nicely!
The Bears look awful, but they will win some games at some point. the 3-14 season you have laid out for Denver will easily put them in contention for the first pick. [Reply]

The Bears have some weak teams on the schedule, but it's still hard to see them winning more than 3. I think they'd win the tiebreaker if they finish with the same record too.
But let's just say that Denver ends up with Williams or Maye. They're still likely to be at least a few years away from serious contention, even IF that QB is good from day one. Wilson is actually playing pretty well right now and Denver is still completely outclassed by good teams. And 54 mil over the cap for next season. Your next roster could very well be less talented than this one. [Reply]

Kareem Jackson?
You've identified like 7 or 8 players over the years who are your new "Kelce Killer"s and not a damn one of them has actually done the job.
Is Kareem Jackson your final answer? Because I'm getting sick of waiting around expectingly for a legit antidote to the greatest TE in NFL history. [Reply]

You can't really even argue with it - all of those L's come against teams with a pulse. You noted the two teams I tend to think they have a chance against as well. The Pack is abysmal - and the Vikes are so hard luck that it would be a straight up Viking thing to lose to the Donk. [Reply]

NFL just tryna get ya'll out of the way quickly so they can move on to bigger and better Chiefs games. [Reply]
