It depends on how you look at it. If I was a Denver fan, I would consider last year worse because they didn't even have the benefit of that number 5 overall pick to show for it. This year, at least there's the hope that Gomer Paton will take a franchise quarterback. If course, whoever he gets will probably bust. But at least they can have that hope for a while.
