The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Manning got his a few times against Brady and no QB is 100% unbeatable. The Chiefs settled for the FG in the AFCCG and the Bills also had the ball up 1 earlier in the game, much less other playoff games.
I'd imagine they'll eventually get past us a time or two....maybe.
One could argue that he's done enough in the 13 second game to have done it.
But again, the true measure of greatness IMO, is who you kept from winning championships. [Reply]

Maybe we should all listen to Romo's thoughts on this matter [Reply]

Yeah, that will probably go down as one of his best chances, if not the best... Mahomes will one day not have Kelce, Jones, Reid, so if Allen doesn't get himself killed first, he'll probably get a prime opportunity or two in the future. [Reply]

But it's hard to me to call an AFC champ game loss to Mahomes and company a "let down".
The season wasn’t a huge failure, but the pass catching room absolutely was a failure, which is what is being referred to with regards to their roster construction. [Reply]

Like i said earlier in this thread, they had the right idea with their WR corps. The execution was just bad. [Reply]

it's more than a let down... It's got to be absolutely devastating. My good friend, A Bill's fan, used one of my season tickets for the AFCCG. He was emotionally beaten with the loss, beyond what I would have thought. [Reply]

This is the one thing that baffles me about the Bill's fans that I know....they incessantly say this very thing...that Allen is a much better QB than Mahomes.
But when it really counts Mahomes steps up and shows who is the better all-round QB,,,in fact I am sure that Mahomes got tired of hearing how Allen will put on his Superman cape and run thru the KC defense...
So during the AFCCG Mahomes showed he knows how to put on his cape and run thru the Bill's defense.....
And when given 3:20 seconds more than Mahomes needed to tie the game...instead Allen and the offense went limp. [Reply]

I understand looking at the physical gifts alone and trying to make an argument for Allen…
However, what good are the physical gifts if they don’t result in tangible accomplishments?
If you can’t use those gifts to win MVPs and postseason games, you’re nothing more than a great QB in concept.
Every argument for Allen starts with an “if” and ignores the obvious intangible advantages that Mahomes has.
“If Allen had Andy Reid…”
“If Allen had Travis Kelce…”
“If Allen had Brett Veach…”
Yeah, well what if Allen had Mahomes’s brain and clutch gene? He doesn’t, which is a large part of why Josh Allen has won jack shit despite all the physical gifts. [Reply]

They won’t give any credit to Mahomes. It’s always Reid’s playing calling or Kelce or defense or not enough dildos thrown when it’s at their house etc. [Reply]
