Worthy is a better deep threat though, so I think he fits our needs better.
Don't sell Worthy short as a route runner. He was pretty damn good for a late round rookie. And in the long run he might end up being better.
The only thing McConkey legitimately has over Worthy is about 15 lbs. That's it.

White Lightning was dinged up a lot last year. [Reply]

No, no they didn't.
They were even better against the run and Leo Chenal is a better athlete than Willie Gay. [Reply]

We don't throw deep. In fact the deep throw is Mahomes biggest weakness. [Reply]

We took the right player.
McConkey is a better route runner.
That doesn't mean Worthy can't run routes, McConk is just elite at it. [Reply]
No, let’s not. Why would we need a video of some dude taking 15 minutes to say what we already know and could be said in about 30 seconds and the only difference is having three marbles in his mouth while doing it [Reply]
Worthy came to life last year. Looked like a Slim Reaper with better hands and more routes and a 2x better QB throwing him the ball. Pair him with Rice and a mediocre left tackle and the offense is top 5 again. [Reply]
