Wanya Morris was drafted with pick 92 of round 3 in the 2023 draft class. He scored a 8.35 #RAS out of a possible 10.00. This ranked 215 out of 1294 OT from 1987 to 2023. https://t.co/KnzoH8NdfSpic.twitter.com/KZgxtMNcfb
I wonder if Veach has another vet like Smith on standby because Morris and Kingsley are completely unplayable at this point. We are basically betting everything on DJs knee holding up. [Reply]

And yeah the LT is terrible but so was Cam Erving and we scored 27 points per game in the 9 games he started in 2019 (including 2 games with Matt Moore where we scored 24 and 26 points). In that stretch Mahomes threw for 321 yards a game with 15TDs to 1 INT.
I'm not expecting that, but still we're nowhere near that level of execution and play from anyone on the team.
But yeah I agree, I wanted them to lose because they need a wake up call in the worst way. They keep playing shitty but are still rewarded with wins. We can't expect that to continue in the playoffs.

Several of us have mentioned this, they’d be wise to sign Smith too if he’s interested. If not him, some other veteran who can play in a pinch.
If this organization puts Morris or Kingsley back on the field this year, especially now in crunch time, it’s incredibly irresponsible of them. Like, the worst position they could possibly put Mahomes and the team in. It cannot happen. [Reply]

Once Morris’ knee completely heals, he’s a fine backup. [Reply]

Don't give up on Kingsley yet.
Sometimes, it seems like NFL scouts are as accurate as weather forecasters... [Reply]

You are a brave soul.
Morris at 100% is just as good or better than the dregs available in free agency. It’s the salary cap era and Mahomes is a huge percentage of the cap - this team can’t afford high quality starters on the back end of the roster. [Reply]
Kingsley has enough intangibles to be a servicable starter one day. If tackle doesn't work, he will be a decent guard. I don't see that as a lost pick. It felt right when we picked him. This ain't a Breeland Speaks or FAU scenario. [Reply]
Plenty folks have said it. Decent replacement for either Thuney or Smith. Going to be pretty hard to get beaten like that playing on the inside. [Reply]

Absolutely possible, but man he looked like he'd never played football. He has a LOT to work on. [Reply]
Use Wanya as a 6th OL in obvious running and other situations.
Hell I love what Harbaugh is doing putting athletic lineman at FB on some running plays. Might be a nice use for Wanya for the rest of this year [Reply]
