You get the money by not paying OBJ and getting your rookie there.
Again, they can sign both Jones and OBJ. They don't really need to sacrifice one for the other. [Reply]

Sneed would be a much easier hole to fill than Jones. Sneed also has another year on his deal that doesn't need to be reworked (from the Chiefs standpoint) yet. They need to bring Jones number down this season. [Reply]

1 playoff sack. Did have the batted ball in 54.
So, kinda clutch but not really.
The Hill and Jones situations aren't remotely the same though. Hill wasn't the best player on the offense. Jones is the best defensive player in the AFC. It's not really close. [Reply]

Hill≠Jones
For a number of reasons. Mainly because we have Mahomes finding open receivers and making up for it. Jones due to his gravity is getting single looks for George and everyone else on the DL. He's also putting up 15 sacks despite those constant dbl and triple teams he sees.
Nothing similar to the Hill situation. Tyreek was never th3 best WR in the league. Chris Jones is best DT in the league and by a wide margin if Aaron Donald has fallen off. He's also 27. [Reply]

He has two playoff sacks.
He tipped 3 balls in the 4th quarter of 54, which we probably lose the game without, and his pressure/hit in the first half caused Jimmy G to throw an INT with his eyes closed.
