Nzoner's Game Room>**** October 10th, Yankees at Royals ALDS Game 4 GDT ****
wazu 09:32 AM Yesterday
Time to shake off last night! The Royals have been relentless throughout this season, beating expectations time and again. Tonight the boys in blue are going to take Game 4 and send this series back to New York. Fans at the K be LOUD! These opportunities don't happen every year, or even every decade. Enjoy it!

Go Royals!

Hey, it was a "Good Year" , we shocked everybody's expectations. NOBODY had us pegged to win the games we did plus make the playoffs!

I was close when I said we could go 81-81 & miss the playoffs. ALMOST everybody would have taken that record after our 23' season.

Our bats just let us down many times this year for long stretches.

Well, on to 25! We made great strides in 1 year.

Maybe would've been nice for the Royals to hire some of the Chiefs people to handle parking.
I've been sitting in my car and haven't moved since I typed that. Flaky just put it in park.

I was at the game and in no position to see the strike zone, but the biggest annoyance was playing small ball in Bum's first inning... hated wasting an out in that inning and putting it all on one guy to knock home a run.

And look, the Yankees pitching at the K was outstanding, but we helped them out in both games. It’s why we lost the series…and amazingly, the 27 walks we surrendered somehow weren’t really the story.
Salvy has had a great career, which I would assume is probably over, but he chased stuff out of the zone in both series. Batting clean up that sure did hurt.

Not sending BWJ late yesterday was huge.

Certainly thinking whoever plays NY has a great shot to take them out. That’s not an exceptionally better team than anybody left. Biggest wallet, sure.
Was the wind really blowing in that hard? I have been out a lot today and didn't really notice the wind being too strong. Do I trust Costas and if so we missed two homers tonight?

They ran on Salvy he must have been worn down. I think I'd played Freddy at the plate and DH'ed Sal or put him at 1st. Vinny I believe was rushed back.

Really need a little more pop in the lineup. MJ needs to be replaced in LF and Isbel is good glove but just not much offense. Old man Pham was pretty good but really not a guy you bring back.

Q as a manager I appreciate the job he did but damn pull these guys that cant find the plate. To keep pitching to Stanton lost this series for you. There were plenty of opportunities to pitch around him. Hope he learns from this.

TSC has always been about making your own road going cross country and making the other guy believe you're willing to take out a fender.

Get aggressive its only going to get worse when they move to downtown.

No it won't. Leaving will get better downtown because a 1/3 of the crowd won't be leaving right after the game.

Agree to disagree. Royals are a completely different animal than Chiefs fans. Royals are more family oriented and head home after the game instead of partying downtown.

Thank you Royals for an exciting and somewhat unexpected season. Dang if they didn't get cold at the wrong time.

I know they won't read this, it just helps me put it in perspective.

Now, if they can just get the tee vee contract resolved...

Oh yeah, I still dislike the Yankees and their entitled fans.
