Been a while since we had a guns n' ammo discussion.
Some of you are AR shooters Im sure. Im looking at a Colt 6920. Will be my first AR. Picked up a Glock this fall and really enjoy shooting it. Any feedback on that weapon?
Anyone else been in a buy/sell/trade mood with hardware? [Reply]
The top one is a Sig STX that was my Christmas present from myself. :-) The bottom one is a Sig C3 that I typically use as my around-the-neighborhood carry gun. [Reply]

On the left is a Springfield M1A Scout .308. I put my old EOTech on it because my old man eyes just didn't do well with the old time sights. Dead nuts accurate and a joy to shoot.
The middle is a Remington Versa Max Tactical 12 gauge with an extended tube. Holds 12-13 shells depending on what they are. This shotgun is amazing - has almost no recoil. Kicks about the same as an AR.
And speaking of ARs, on the right is the new Frankenrifle that I built last summer. 18" barrel. Got the upper and lower from Palmetto State Armory. It came with all the Magpul stuff. I added a Geissele trigger, Fail Zero BCG and a Leupold VX-R scope.

So where do you go to shoot all that stuff? My buddy has an ar but it's a 22 lol so we can shoot it indoors. If I come out there in may we gotta go blow some shit up :-) [Reply]

That Versa Max is all I need. I can always switch out the extended tube if I want it to be a bit easier to handle. In fact, I'm thinking about doing that, since I'll be taking my new CZ to the gunsmith next weekend anyway. The extended capacity is great, but it's basically only good for 3 gun, and I don't shoot enough matches to justify making a great defensive shotgun almost completely unwieldy. [Reply]
