Apparently judging by twitter, Jon Jones is an emotional wreck. Says he didn't knowingly take PED's, trying to think of the supplements he's taken, etc. They are testing the B sample today. If that is positive, I assume we're gonna hear the old tainted supplement defense again. [Reply]
In case anyone is wondering, he is facing a 2 year suspension.
My guess is that Jon Jones lawyers up, they start talking tainted supplements and the 7 negative tests, figure out a way to attack the lab, etc. Then USADA offers him a plea bargain somewhere around 1-1.5 years which he'll then accept. If his B sample is positive, his only move is to reduce the suspension as much as possible. [Reply]
If he can make weight, that might be the best they can do.
edit: the problem with that though is Gustaffson's last fight was a title shot against DC, which he lost.
The rumor on the internet is that DC has agreed to a HW fight. That makes a lot of sense, he still fights, still gets paid, and if he loses, well he's not a heavyweight so he's probably not expected to win the fight. He probably would prefer to defend his belt against an opponent who he can prepare for longer than 3 days. [Reply]
Brazilian media is reporting DC vs Anderson Silva in a 3 round non-title fight. No one else is confirming yet, Helwani says the fight was discussed but there are other options and its not final. [Reply]

Silva posted on his IG account saying he going to Vegas to fight. But didn't say if it was a title shot or not. [Reply]
I's rather see Gus than Silva, but either way I just hope for DC's sake that he gets to fight and still gets his piece of the PPV buys. I'd hate to think that in addition to ruining his own life, costing the UFC his trainers andhis family, and smashing into pregnant women, that Jones wake of destruction keeps pulling people in [Reply]

I think DC has made it pretty clear to Dana that he wants to fight since this will probably be his biggest payday ever, and there is no shortage of fighters willing to challenge him. It doesn't even have to be a title fight, if its heavyweight or catchweight thats fine, then DC can focus on a proper title defense. [Reply]
