Yeah, and about the time they get their next QB a year of experience, Pat Surtain II will be looking for his big contract, which they will not be able to pay at the rate they are going. Dumpster fire and I'm loving it. [Reply]

Even if they tank the entire year, which they won't not after making Payton the 2nd highest coach in the NFL, but let's say they do there's no guarantees in Caleb Williams. SC quarterbacks are just not good in the NFL. The best NFL QB to come out of SC is Carson Palmer. 2nd best... Matt Cassell. Maybe they'll get the next Matt Cassell lol [Reply]
The coming of Mahomes was a harbinger of death and misfortune for the rest of the AFC West. Kansas City now shits gold, as if Andy Reid was Tywin Lannister... while Denver, LA, and Oak Vegas conspire to outdo each other with continually unique, but increasingly outlandish and pathetic meltdowns. Injuries, locker room dramatics, blown leads, bad trades, worse coaching hires, and whatever voodoo or bad joke keeps the Chargers hurling good rosters into an abysss of mediocrity with abandon... All makes for pretty boring theatre for us loser fans. Two weeks in, it's almost undebateable how it finishes - LA and Vegas showing promise but tripping over themselves to the tune of 7-9 wins, the Broncos showing grit and dragging themselves into the same range.
Remember for one summer in 2022 when this division was gonna send 3 legit contenders to the playoffs? In reality, it's 3 clown franchises embarassing themselves, while Mahomes runs victory laps around them. I'd be shocked if the Chiefs don't keep their division title alive through 2030.
And also:
Every curse Mahomes breaks adds a curse to his division rivals. Only explanation.

Case of Dildos has already gotten 2 wrong. It’s week 2.
In all seriousness - you could make a decent argument that they go winless. They won't - but it isn't completely out of the realm of possibility. [Reply]
First of all many chiefs fans believe that the team is a dynasty. DELUSIONAL. And second you can honestly tell you are going to win the SB after 2 weeks of offensive struggle?? If you do, DELUSIONAL

We play the Bears in two weeks, and both teams will likely be looking for their first win. That game will probably end up being huge for draft seeding. [Reply]
That is outstanding! And Payton owns 2 of the 9. I thought the problem was the Broncos had one of the worst coaches in the history of the NFL. If that's true, why can't he fix it? I'm sure he'll get them back on track next week in Miami. [Reply]
