That is a pretty easy answer for me.
Jones.
That way of thinking doesnt really describe the situation the best way. Our O Line has 2 guys that are potential perennial All Pros and the D line only has Jones. A better way of phrasing it is
Brown - 3rd best player on this O Line
Jones - Could be argued that he was the best defensive player in the league and at worst is 3rd.
That shows the reality of the situation. Jones is a generational talent that was overshadowed by a once in a lifetime talent. [Reply]

You're focusing too much on the journey rather than the destination.
Just admit it, you'd complain to your husband if he took a turn to the grocery store that you wouldn't take. :-) [Reply]

Are you talking about A Donald here? im a little slow on the uptake in case you didnt know [Reply]
Lots of buzz, the Athletic, ESPN, RGR etc. about the Chiefs have decided to give Jones his money. As long as the market doesn’t change on them like the WR market did last year.

Does he want Donald type of money?
He want to be the 2nd highest paid DT.
So like $30M.
I think he could be shopped by the team at that number. Stars and scrubs doesn’t work well. [Reply]
Veach will make him an offer. Probably not quite what he could get, but something that will make him one of the top-2 or -3 highest paid DTs. CJ will accept it, because he wants to remain a Chief and keep going to the SB.
He'll also restructure his pay for 2023, so Veach will have more cap space to work with. [Reply]

Although I hope they find a way to keep him without having to lose too many other key players.
Jones is the best DT in the league. It will be very hard to find anyone even close to him....especially at 31. Pay the man and move on. I'd give him 3/100 easily. Him and Snead need to be extended.
You get the money by not paying OBJ and getting your rookie there. [Reply]
