Scrap heap? Brees last 2 years in SD he averaged 26 TDs and 11 INTs a season. Brees only averaged 445 pass attempts in his starting time with the Dolts. He averaged 613 attempts a season with NO. His TD% with SD in his final 2 seasons was 5.7% and his TD% with NO was 5.5%. Those NO stats are only through 2018 cuz he was hurt a lot the last 2 years. Brees was coming into his own and becoming a force, but SD was stupid.

You're a dumb shit

This was from last year around this time.
Fixed it

Drew Brees last 2 years in SD:

57 TD's
22 INT's
65% completion rating
Rating-97
3 rushing TD's

Brees scored 60 TD's in 2 years in 2004/2005. To think he wasn't a top 10 QB before he went to New Orleans is hilarious.

The only reason he was "discarded" was bc of his shoulder injury.

Under Payton his yards per attempt, completion percentage and TD's per attempt all went up while his INT's per attempt went down.

That was with a TRUE HOF QB, not the donut muncher you have.

Yep. Minor improvements in each (partly due to style of play).

Payton got Brees at the age that QBs usually hit their prime. Peyton Manning made a similar jump in comp % in his 5th year. Did Dungy magically become a better QB coach that year?

Andy with a first ballot HOF QB has blown Payton out of the water

Um, not sure that's true. The NFC-S has sent all of its members to the SB over the time that Payton coached NOR. The AFC-W hasn't. Also, no team in the NFC-S won the Division title two consecutive years. The NFC-S was a very competitive Division while Sean was coaching there.

Weird how only Brees' last two years in SD count when he was the starter for four. Realistically, he had two bad seasons, one good season and one okay season.

Russ' last season in Seattle (his "decline") was on par with Brees' best season in SD.

You’re comparing a young HOF quarterback not quite in his prime, to a fat cringey quarterback well past his prime.

Make.
The.
Bet.

Yeah, I’m sure this is the year Russ changes his stripes and becomes a great quarterback. :-).

Talking about the NFC East when Andy was in Philly. Giants 2 SB's, Cowboys only had 2 losing seasons in the time Andy was there and the Redskins had a few good years when Shanny was there

Russ wasted an all time defense with only one ring. In a much easier conference. He’ll never get that close again.
