In the last few months KnowMo has done everything from praying Reid would retire (his HC also did this), to now praying that Kelce's injury is 100x worse than it really is.

The Chiefs and his brother both say Kelce should be fine, but they both mentioned that there is a lot of swelling. This Dr. had an interesting tweet about how swelling impacts MRI’s. I’m just posting info, not hoping for anything bad. [Reply]

Russ has a lot of cringe. Could be a sign of a glaring personality disorder that prevents him from ever being the top 10 QB you hoped he would become. You saw this kind of thing with Matt Cassel.

One thing about swelling.....it usually goes down. Like that swelling feeling of hope you have about this season. Don't worry - that will dissipate soon enough. [Reply]
He’ll have a major role. He’s a big reason why we only rostered 4 WR’s. I wouldn’t be surprised if he led the team in TD catches through the first month of the season.
Trautman, Manhertz and Nate Adkins will do the grunt work at TE and Dulcich will be free to catch passes. [Reply]

I’m starting to think that there is a chance KC misses the playoffs this year. If Chris Jones has a prolonged holdout and the Chiefs’ new OT’s don’t play well… watch out. The Chiefs are vulnerable this year, IMO. The AFC is absolutely loaded and the Chiefs’ schedule is tough.

It means that blocking is more important than receiving for our TEs, which shows that rushing will be a focus of our offense. I think one can infer Payton’s feelings on our QB situation from that. [Reply]

Not really a shocker. You're legitimately stupid when it comes to football knowledge. [Reply]
