I did mess up the numbers. Teddy was in Carolina in 2020 and Denver in 2021. Payton was actually 17-4 in games in which Teddy Bridgewater, Taysom Hill, and Jameis Winston started from 2019-2021. [Reply]

And you guys don’t think he can win with Russ? :-)
He also had a losing record in a third of his seasons with one of the best QBs ever.

Now he has....
Payton went 7-9 four times in 15 years and never had a record worse than that. In those four years his defenses finished 25th, 28th, 31st and 32nd in points allowed. His offenses in those years finished 12th, 9th, 8th and 2nd in PPG and 4th, 1st, 2nd and 1st in YPG. [Reply]
I dug up some research, and it seems the Denver Donkshows have had at one point 10 straight losings seasons which ranks 4th all time. Their infamous run of sorelosers started in 1963 and ended in 1972.
If they have a losing season again this year, that makes it 7 straight. Closely approaching their own record of losingville. https://champsorchumps.us/streak/lon...streak-alltime
It wouldn't shock me if they tie/or beat Tampa's all time record of 14 straight losing seasons. Donko country, let's ride. [Reply]

With one of the best quarterbacks in league history. DisastRuss isn’t even top 20. And the weapons he had in NO aren’t gonna magically appear in Dung Town. And oof, those defensive numbers are your teams future. Good luck beating Mahomes with a bottom feeder defense. [Reply]

Well, look at it this way, IF Denver wins 7 games with Payton, it will be an improvement! :-) [Reply]
