He played so well, they couldn't wait to trade him to a desperate team for a kings ransom. [Reply]

Dude. He looks bad. He looked bad last year and he's looked bad this preseason.
It really looks like Carrol new he was just about done hence the trade.

He wanted out after the 2020 season and was pushing to get out of there last year too. They’ve even admitted that they didn’t see last year coming. They were just tired of him trying to force his way out and decided to trade him.
Seattle came out smelling like roses last year but Russell Wilson is going to be much better this year.. [Reply]

No he's not... Like I told u last year - You're stuck with Russ! :-) [Reply]
He’s a sack of potatoes. In the bottom pantry. Forgotten and rotting. You’ll wonder where that smell is coming from and it’s just a broken down russet leaking all over the place [Reply]

He did want out. That's true. But you're leaving out an important component. Why did he want out. He wanted out because Pete could see that his best days were behind and was working the offense to carry him because Pete knew that Wilson was no longer able to carry the offense. Wilson couldn't handle that. He was in denial about the truth. So yeah, he wanted out. And Pete said, fine, you want out and that dumbass Paton is willing to pay a kings ransom for a washed up quarterback. Yeah, I can do that. Then I'll put in Geno Smith and never skip a beat. And he didn't. Paton was such a sucker :-) [Reply]

He was absolutely garbage the end of the season in Seattle and has looked even worse in Denver. I fucking told you what would happen last year [Reply]

Then let’s bet on it. You seem sure, put up or shut up time! [Reply]
At this point in his career, Tater is a bottom 10 QB.
Couple that with the Donks’ bottom 10 roster and bottom 10 NFL organization, and all I can say is you better enjoy the next 12 days Quesadildos, because hurricane Reality is about to make landfall.

I am looking forward to watching Rodgers and the Jets lay the wood on them! Then 17 straight happens. What’s the over/under on Russett being benched by the Chiefs/Dungkeys second game? [Reply]

In one or the other of my leagues, I had Russ his last 3 years in Seattle because he was usually a pretty solid fantasy value but he had been getting worse.
His last year in Seattle he had a good TD to interception ratio, but his yards and TDs were only meh even with losing 3 or whatever games to a finger injury and great WRs.
Carroll had put him on a leash.
Presumably he would be better when healthy but nothing indicated he would be worth 50 mil a year after taking the leash off.
His first year in Denver was the first in many I didn't draft him. It's not division rivalry. I usually end up with a Charger or two. [Reply]
