I ask, because it's supposed to be really good for you being a fermented food, but it looks so gross I can't try it.
Kimchee is an acquired taste and it's the national side dish of Koreans. It is made with napa cabbage, radish, and scallions and a seasoned paste of red pepper, garlic, ginger, sugar, and fish sauce, salted shrimp, or kelp powder.
It is soft yet crunchy and has a unique tang and heat to it. I have a broad pallet. [Reply]

What did you think of DC?
When were you here and where did you visit? [Reply]
Must be the week for chicken. Lunch was a $4.99 special at the grocery store down the street from work. Two piece chicken (couldn't fit two in the box), two sides, a roll and a drink. Easily could have fed two people, I'm still stuffed.

We were there over Thanksgiving. We stayed near the mall for the first two nights and saw the monuments, white house and some of the Smithsonian. After that we stayed with one of my wife's college friends. We went to Mt. Vernon and a few wineries. We liked it there, first time I had been, wife had been there several times but hadn't seen all of the monuments.

Broccolini is awesome, it's like a cross between broccoli and asparagus. I dig it. [Reply]
