I just feel like everyone is going to spend all week talking about Mahomes' ankle or Burrow being a Demigod or Chase against this young secondary or Lou Anarumo being a psychopath...and then in the end it's just going to Samaje Perine bludgeoning Bolton and Gay to death.

Suck it up and grow some balls and quit whining. Give it as good as you get it and the respect will come.

Pacheco is good and Frank Clark was good with the Seahawks but he's average now.
The Bengals have an almost equal QB, an elite WR, a better stable of running backs and a defense with 3 levels of above average players who play a scheme that's very fluid and puts them in positions to win thanks to Anarumo.
We've proven to be able to beat you at home and away. You haven't proven to be able to beat us anywhere. That's not a coincidence, it's not a fluke and it's not luck. They didn't **** around and do dumb shit when they shut Patrick down in 3 consecutive 2nd halves, picking him off 3 times. They didn't **** around and do dumb shit when Kelce fumbled. Germaine Pratt ripped the ball out of his hands after fighting with him for a few steps. They didn't **** around and do dumb shit when Chase scorched them for 266 and 3tds. He's just better than anyone you have guarding him.
There were no flukes or luck involved with beating the Chiefs 3 straight times. The Bengals are just the better overall team and they executed better the 3 times they've played.
Good Lord, are all of you Bengals fans this dumb? Your team is not more talented. Here, have a read and maybe you won't be such a homer.
Yes, your defense got Patrick off his game or confused or whatever in last year's AFC Championship game. But as I recall, in this year's game the Chiefs were able to score in the 2nd half. If memory serves, the Chiefs were up by 4 and driving. It could have been an 11 point lead. Kelce rarely fumbles but he did at the worst time. Between the Butker missed FG and Kelce fumble, the Chiefs gave away the game, period. [Reply]

The friendly midwesterners of Kansas City reputation is, for whatever reason, extended to being insulted, harassed or otherwise being done wrong too. Apparently, we are supposed to just smile and thank them for their rude behavior. The sports world was aghast when KC hosted the All Star game and the fans booed Robinson Cano to a goose egg during the HR Derby because he led on like he would add Billy Butler to his team and then didn’t. WE were considered the bad guys for standing up for ourselves. Carl Cheffers experienced the city’s wrath earlier this and was left crying for his efforts. And again, though not quite as bad as due to most agreeing it was a terrible call, there was still some talk about the fans being mean and out of line.
And then we routinely see it on a much smaller scale here when fans of other teams come over and WE are the assholes because we push back when they start shitting all over our board. We’re just supposed to the uber friendly midwesterners and welcome their shittiness with a smile and a “Have a nice day.”
The truth of the matter is we can be super friendly, we can give you helpful hints and recommendations when you come into our city, we can invite you into our tailgates and fill you full of delicious food and tasty booze. BUT, if you want to be a douche at the game you’ll get nothing but a fuck you. If you show up here uninvited and start trolling our little corner of the internet we WILL fire back. And then we’ll leave you with sloppy seconds as we fuck your mothers before you do. You want a fan base you can walk all over, look elsewhere. [Reply]
