I agree Denver is going to be better this year. Wilson will be better than last season. Not great, but better.
It's still not going to be enough. They might go on a roll and crack .500 but they will still be watching the playoffs from the couch.
They might even break the streak this year. Statistically, it has to happen sometime. But even that will be a meaningless moral victory. They will be forgotten in the postseason. [Reply]

Q Joe's going to quit touting PFF if they keep releasing stuff like this...
20. RUSSELL WILSON, DENVER BRONCOS
Wilson ranked 26th in PFF passing grade last season and 29th in overall grade. It’s difficult to overstate how bad his first year in Denver was and how much uncertainty that paints his future in. Sean Payton has been brought in to make the best of a disastrous situation, but exactly where Wilson can land on the spectrum between last season and his best play in Seattle is pure guesswork. Given his visible decline in athleticism, it seems likely that his baseline is closer to last year than his peak, but he is a player with a wide range of outcomes. [Reply]

I don't put much stock into anything PFF says, especially if career highs in INTs and forced fumbles is a "down year". [Reply]
