Curious what he would say about the Chiefs roster, but considering KC has been one of if not the biggest stumbling blocks to Buffalo winning chamionships I doubt he would give an unbiased opinion. [Reply]

Remember last year when he was all over the experts that preached the fall of the Chiefs because of teams like Denver? Good times. [Reply]

Top 5 roster
Greatest offensive mind ever
Hof midget
Turns out that's good enough for a last place finish and 5 wins [Reply]

I think Sean Payton will make Russ look a lot better based on scheme. The evidence is there not just from Brees, but Winston, Bridgewater and Siemian. Getting a combined 34 TD/8 INT with an avg rating of 96 between the 3 is very impressive.
I think he was by far the best person available to “fix” Russ. He knew the OL was terrible sacking Russ 55 times so he upgraded.
His moves this off-season make sense on offense. The run game will be built to help with play action and the OL got expensive new players + Bolles back from IR.
I do think the hiring of Vance Joseph was horrible and the guy he replaced was significantly better at the job. [Reply]

I amost laughed out loud at “best skill group Payton’s ever had.” Last offseason it was “best skill group Wilson’s ever had.” Those killers proceeded to average 16 ppg and drew boos at every home game. :-)
Who is this Marino clown and why would anyone care about what he tweets anyway? [Reply]

They will be better no doubt, but that better is only an 8-9 or 9-8 though. [Reply]

100% concur.
Payton took several marginal QBs and made them more efficient over the course of his career. He can likely do something similar with Russ. Now, no one's saying that Payton will find a way to return Russ to his "cooking" years, but I doubt that's the goal. Make him a plus and not a minus is probably closer to reality.
And the Vance hire was a little puzzling. Guess we'll see if that was a mistake or not by season's end. [Reply]
