The mighty Bills from Buffalo will take the AFC this year.
For two decades I watched people say the Patriots window was closed, that their time was dwindling, that it was all over… seemingly every time those predictions happened, the Patriots went and won another Super Bowl.
A lot of doom talk simply because we lost to the Bengals in the playoffs. Let us not forget that the Bills watched their brother DIE on the field just a few weeks prior. Their heart was simply not in it. If it had been, the Bills would have captured the AFC last year.
The Bills have won 2 of their last 3 in Arrowhead and they’re ready to make it 3 of the last 4.

Maybe fans are down now, but after a while they come around and they're ready to go next time. There is no down and out except for the handful of weak-minded individuals who weren't diehard fans to begin with.
Players moreso. I don't care if they lose 10 in a row. When that 11th game comes around, they're gonna believe they'll win it.
Get the **** over yourself already.
Fauker, this is a historic time for Chiefs fans.
Now, I enjoy your trolling as much as the next guy, but can’t you wait until about a month after we threepeat?
In January 2023, I bet rfaulk never thought the Chiefs would get 2 more Super Bowl rings before Joe Burrow got another win against the Chiefs :-) [Reply]

The 4th down play … ppl are discussing the wrong topic. The question is why did Allen get fooled with this Chiefs defensive alignment. 3 defenders into the boundary to “cover” 1 offensive option vs 4 for 4 to the field. should have gone up for boundary pressure. pic.twitter.com/YWJcBt8fDx
There is a tweet floating around here somewhere where an OG for the Bills said they kept showing this pressure and sending it from the other side all game long, so Allen shifted the protection to the left.

1) The Bills have a lot to be excited about. That team didn't rely on much in the way of older players or guys they expect to lose in FA. Most of the key players they had this year were younger or likely to be extended. And they cleared the Diggs dead cap so they'll have some money to spend. Their cap sheet is relatively clean with only Von Miller as the real headache contract they have.
They'll be better on paper next season than they were this season.
2) Those fans will still see the entire regular season as a preliminary event for the post-season and they WILL develop a cynical shell and cringe like kicked dogs anytime the wheels wobble.
I only say this because we've been there. We know this feeling extremely well. This WAS Chiefs fans before Mahomes. Now its worse for them because they have a truly spectacular QB and a very good HC/Staff. They'd have at least one championship by now, if not more than one, coming out of the NFC. So it has to burn.
It cuts both ways. They'll still be confident and they should be. They still have a badass under center in the prime of his career.
But they're going to be waiting for that football to get pulled away from them again. [Reply]

I agree. They started rebuilding their WR room. Now they can put some draft assets into the defense. They're actually in pretty good shape, especially compared to the rest of the AFC. [Reply]
