He’s Nathaniel Hackett’s close friend. The main reason he played for the Broncos last year was because Hackett wanted him. It’s also why he’s going to play for the Jets this year.
Billy Turner could’ve easily blamed it all on Russ in order to stand up for his friend. [Reply]

😳Former Broncos OL Billy Turner didn't hold back in his assessment of the 2022 season and who was to blame in Denver.

Just saw some talking head say that SEA will be NFC-W champs, but I think that may be going a little too far. But they'll be better than last season, and they were pretty good last season. [Reply]

Tbh, for DEN to win 10 games they'd need some luck to go their way. Obviously.
Foremost, Russ would have to become a much better passer over the middle, which means he'd have to become a ton better at timing passes. That's never been a forte for him, so I doubt he makes that leap in 2023. Maybe ever.
But if he did, and they got a few lucky bounces here and there DEN could find a way to win 10. Just wouldn't be likely.
Which is why I think 8 or 9 wins is a lot more probable. Sean's worth at least 4 or so wins more than Hackett. [Reply]
“I was just amazed by how many times I was in games and I’d look at him (Sean Payton) and say, “Dang, you’re two plays ahead of the defensive coordinator.” The defensive coordinator just couldn’t keep up with him.”
Can the Broncos be a playoff team in 2023? @ESanders_10 on KOA Sports: “I think so.” Do you think they can be?
