:-) Being a troll and disingenuous about the Chiefs is his prerogative, but Knowmo actually seems to be genuinely dumb enough to not see what the plan is regarding Wilson. It’s telling that Payton is very much an air it out type of coach and despite that he’s looking to be a run the ball type of team. That’s says a ton about his confidence in Wilson. [Reply]

So he had to go to a team that was willing to trade draft pick(s) to NO for his rights and he wanted big money.
But instead of making the Donkeys competent (it's going to be hard to be good with their draft and salary situation and playing in the AFCW) he could stay a pass first team and just wait to get fired in a couple of years?
