As for hiring a coach. It doesn't work that way in KC. Reid wasn't hired by Dorsey, he was hired by Hunt. As was Dorsey and Veach with Reid on board. When Reid eventually retires, he will likely have his successor groomed and on staff, ready to go. Maybe the Donks should try a similar approach. The only thing that has worked for them to be successful was cheating.

And what's awesome is they know it. One of my close friends and colleagues lives in denver and is a donks fan. When we talk, he never even mentions the donks as a potential contender to the chiefs' dynasty. He talks about the bills, the bungles and even the jets as possible contenders. The donks never even come up.
