Eagles, we scored 14 on them. 2nd QTR was a struggle though and went into half down 10 with Mahomes gimpy.

Wasn't one of those a defensive TD?

The offense scored on the opening drive but missed a FG on the next drive and didn't score again until after halftime.

I didn't realize Tom was gonna be in the booth for this game. Pretty happy for that. He's the best there is.

Damn, that's true.

The discrepancy between Jalen Hurts when he is and isn't holding the football for extended periods of time is unlike anyone else. Have to make him do that.

My point was that our offense has had incredible pass-rushers to fend off in these SB's and we only have pulled ahead in our 3 SB victories once the other teams' star DL gets tired.

Eagles offense still has no answers against pressure and really struggles against the blitz (even in the NFCC game they let unblocked rushers through multiple times). It's not a good matchup for their offense, if they can't stay on schedule Spags in going to put Hurts in hell. This Eagles team can't drop back and pass like they did 2 years ago.

Chris Long said on his podcast over a month ago that he heard Dickerson was playing through something ngarly, and then he couldn't finish the NFCCG due to the knee...

I mean, I know he's gonna suit up. But at what percent?

Same goes for Jurgens who is struggling with a bad back.

I worry in that Superbowl the Eagles offense was doing very well and imposing their will against our defense, and it took a Hurts fumble return TD spotting 7 pts for Chiefs to basically pull out that win. Now they're even better than that 2022 team in some ways, although so are the Chiefs.

This isn't the same fucking defense from 2022 dipshit.

It's not the same Eagles offense either. They have Saquon, but they're more one dimensional.

Much different units on both sides and both teams.

Look at their 2022 vs 2024 offensive depth chart! It's basically the same. Except instead of Miles Sanders an avg RB, they now have a generational RB talent in place. Cam Jurgens replaced Kelce at Center, and WR 1, 2, TE and offensive line the same.

Jalen Hurts isn't the same guy from 2022, expecting him to replicate that performance is pretty unrealistic. Jason Kelce isn't there anymore and the OL is a tad banged up, we'll see how that plays out.

For all the talk about how the shit field benefitted the Chiefs…maybe it benefitted the Eagles more?

The Chiefs barely laid a finger on Hurts in that game, which was a career night for him.

Probably not a coincidence.

First things first made a good point. The Eagles opponents in their two games melted down and completely lost their games, but the Bills didn't really lose so much as the Chiefs beat them. The Bills were in it until the very last drive and were in a position where they could win, the Chiefs were just better. The Packers Rams and Washington just melted down and turned the ball over a ton. The Eagles are good obviously since they're in a super bowl but the Chiefs haven't had the benefit of playing collapsing teams.
